About Me
Background:
About Me
I grew up in North Carolina, always participating in some artistic adventure
from early childhood. I studied dance for 18 years and was always singing
and dancing. After studying vocal performance in college, I spent 20
years or so as a working singer/actress and traveled this country, which was
amazing. As I grew older, I tired of traveling and spent some years as a
Marketing and PR Director in several notable Boston area Opera/Theatre
companies. After many years of making gift baskets for fun, friends and
fellow business folks started to ask if I could do some baskets for them.
After receiving a referral that led to a large design job for a Boston Bank, I
decided to take my "hobby" and make it a business. Thus on November 5,
1995 Express Yourself Gifts and Baskets was born! This is our 15th
Anniversary year and the ideas are still flowing, so I look forward to the next
15!
